Whether it is a family get away or a more intimate get away with you and your spouse, the Kemah Boardwalk offers a variety of options. There are rides, much like you would find at a carnival, as well as fine dining and more homely dining. The fantastic Boardwalk Inn offers guests a fantastic view of the Boardwalk and Galveston Bay.
There are several restaurants on the Boardwalk. Joe's Crab Shack, Landry's, The Flying Dutchman, Babin's Seafood Restaurant, Cadillac Bar, The Crab House and the Aquarium are among a few of the many great restaurants. Because of its location on the water, guests are treated with the views of the boats going by while enjoying their meals. There are tour boats, party boats and private boats passing by at almost any time of day or night.
Music is alive and kicking on the Boardwalk. A local radio station hosts "Rock The Dock" on Thursday's during the summer months and live bands play at some of the restaurants as well. Also, if you are looking for a souvenir, there are plenty to be had and the numerous gift shops located throughout the Kemah Boardwalk.
