As with any large city, Houston has it's share of traffic. Luckily, Houston also has plenty of side roads and detours to get around sticky area's. However, in order to take those detours, you have to know where the traffic is going to be bad at. Fortunately for Houstonians, traffic nightmare problems can be solved easily. The Transportation Department has gracefully added a web page on the internet with real-time traffic updates as well as a real-time map of the speed of traffic on Houston's major roads.
